Three five zero
Stanchart was great. Finished much much faster than expected, considering how little we really trained. Thankful that the legs recovered by Tuesday evening, just in time for camp. =)
Camp itself was, as quoted by Maha, a "blast". Didn't really make it for the messages, but hey, if it's by Chee Hong, it's probably impactful, not to say hilariously funny as well. The games were good. Especially Sentosa of course. Haha. I must say the youths/young adults who planned them are rather creative, because I hate to think of such detail and interesting ideas. The logistical aspect was rather messy and we were short-handed at first. But thankfully we pulled through and things were righted in the end. And everyone was so cooperative and helpful. Next time, we'll plan all these things way in advance first!
I'm a bureaucrat. I just follow the rules. =)
But sometimes, even following the rules just don't get you out of trouble. One and a half hours of sleep and a packed day is a recipe for disaster, as seen from the two scratches/scrapes/markings on both sides of the front bumper. One from scraping the wall of the multi-storey carpark at Plaza Sing and the other one resulted with a minor collision with the gate of Presbyterian High. All within the same day. Now I'll probably be banned for life. )=
Clocked something like five hundred kilometres with the car since Wednesday, especially on Thursday and Friday. I've never driven so much in my entire (short) driving life! Now I'll have trouble adjusting back to normal public transport routine after Monday! And I guess I'll never be able to drive so much anytime in the distant future though. But it was fun and well worth the time, because it's the company that counts. It's the company that really matters. =)
I particular like Thursday. =)
Things left unsaid. Things left undone. No more delays now. Time is running short.
