This thing called sleep
Two quote repeated ad nauseum over the past week.
"This thing called sleep, actually quite important." - Source: Unknown.
It was first discovered on a note pasted on the sliding glass window of the clubroom, captured in a picture perfect moment, published on Facebook by Shane, posted on this very blog by yours truly, and popularised by Desmond Kwan.
Indeed, having seven hours of sleep over three days and a marathon isn't very funny at all. 14 hours of sleep after still resulted in tiredness and a nasty cold of which, thankfully, I've recovered from. Now it's time for my recovery runs to avoid slipping into the dreaded post-marathon lethargy.
The next quote's from Shuli, who galvanised all of us into action and encouraged all who were feeling down with these inspirational words - "As youths, we should challenge ourselves!". Although I'm now way past that youthful stage, such motivational talk never failed to spur us to greater heights and achieve the impossible.
So now, as I struggle to recover from the post-pre camp daze and get on with the next big event, I leave this entry with a picture full of energy.
