SocSci Interview @ SMU on Thursday was a very quick affair. So quick that I only missed out on one and a half hours of work. Which was a good thing because it was an unusually busy day at the Faculty for a non-event week. Anyway, the interview was alright. Usual questions. Some history and current affairs thrown in. And as usual, I gave the most diplomatic and objective answers that I could, although they may not have been the most honest perspectives that I had. Some things are just better left unsaid.
You know, I think I should be a politician because I crap very well. Haha.
Talking about perspectives, there were two advertisements that drew my attention this week. I extracted the information that really mattered here:
The first one, "Thank God It's Good Friday! Save Us!" by MOS. Free entry for all tertiary students before 11 p.m. No re-entry, and cover charges apply after 11 p.m. Club rules apply.
The second one - "Thank God It's Good Friday!" on a big banner in front of Orchard Road Presbyterian Church. Now I don't know what kind of event they were holding, but I'm pretty sure that they're the ones who got the true meaning of yesterday. In this case, salvation came at a heavy cost for Jesus, God's only Son, to die on the Cross for our sins, but it was made free for us by grace through faith. He died and rose again, once and for all. There're no such thing as having to pay again for "re-entry" for our sins or cover charges into the kingdom of God. Faith in Christ. Faith alone. =)
Thank God for Good Friday.
Thursday night. Chong Ping's place. Ah, I keep forgetting how to play Settlers man. It's like fun, but I keep forgetting you know.
Everyone loves the Wii. Thanks Cheryl. =)
