9 minute barrier

Finally. A weekend in which we get to book out earlier than usual. At 4 p.m. Didn't get to attend YLTC again, but the 2 hour difference certainly helped. More time to do laundry, more time to pack, more time to relac one corner and such...

Thank God for bringing me through yet another week. Thank Him for wonderful section/platoon mates who encourage and push each other on to hang on. Thank Him also for enabling me to set my personal best for my 2.4 km run. =) Some 6 weeks to the end of course! Yes seems like eternity, but I guess after the major exercises like Gypsy, Grand Slam and Nutcracker, time'll fly by - just like BMT. Haha I hope. We've had had too many canteen breaks and fast food delivery that we're kinda sian of spending so much money. Welfarism? Yeah, but I guess this won't last for long. Treasure the good times man.

The sad thing is that most of Delta will be staying on for the Advanced Section Leader Course (ASLC), with a few lucky ones being posted out to support arms units. This means we'll most probably be Infantry specialists. Which means more outfield, more chiong-sua... Oh no can. The luckier ones'll be posted back to BMTC to train recruits and there, they'll be kings man. Hmmm.

Nothing much to say lah, besides army stuff. Wah lao. Boring can. Probably gonna catch a show later tonight. Hopefully my health holds. We're all falling sick man. Must be the milky water that flows out of Platoon 4's water cooler. And the nonsense junk food we've been eating every day. Ah-hah. But can't be helped lah. Growing boys need to eat you see.
