Block Leave
Say, 12 days of block leave isn't a very long time now, come to think of it. Firstly there's THIS MUCH of washing to do. Then there's the networking to be done - e.g. MSNing and Friendster-ing, you know, getting to know your platoon mates online as well. Of course, there's also the "catching up" with long lost friends and people you don't normally get to meet up with because you're doing your National Service. So that leaves me with like a few days of spare time to keep trim and fit. If I ever have the discipline to do so. Hmmm.
Two nights ago, I dreamt that I had to recourse BMT. Wah lao. Scary mania can. And of all companies, I had to re-BMT in PEGASUS. Haha. Really weird lah. And I was there pleading with 2LT Ros to let me just pass and carry on. But he said no. Yeah. I guess this dream just goes to show my inherent fear of not being able to clear this phase of NS life. Thank God it was only a dream though!
You know, having to do the washing of equipment and uniforms and stuff really helps me appreciate my mom even more. Usually I'd try to do some laundry every day back in camp, in order to save on laundromat charges and the washing that she and I'd have to do every weekend. Yup... So thanks Mom! =D
Oh and MOE rejected my application of the teaching award. Must be due to the screwed up interview. Hmmm oh well. Maybe I'll try agian next year when I'm more certain of what I'd like to do in the future. Until then...
