Information Overload
Seriously, I never thought Artillery could be this technical. I mean, who actually needs to know how the intricate parts of a flick rammer or a breech mechanism works? Don't have a clue what I'm talking about? Well neither do I. Ahh see, that's how boring it can get. And the technical details just keep coming and coming, day in and day out. For the next two weeks I think. My goodness. Our brains'll be bursting by the time it comes to studying for the technical handling test.
Had our IPPT Cat Test Friday. Used the electronic system for the first time. Yes, even an old place like Khatib Camp has such advanced equipment. Most of us couldn't get used to running on the track for our 2.4 km run and the new SBJ pad. As a result, most of us didn't perform as well as we should have. Including yours truly. SBJ has always been my nemesis. Oh well. I'd better JUMP another 13 cm more for the actual test. Then that $200'll be mine to keep!
We also had the first Faith Factor on Saturday just now. Was really encouraging to see so many turn up. Now the challenge is for all to keep up with this enthusiam and discipline to set aside our Saturdays to be able to come to church. Yup, especially for those who're used to parents fetching them every Sunday, and of course, the certain few who live VERY far away. Haha. Dinner was good too. But I'm still hungry leh. Wonder why.
I know it sounds gay, but I kinda miss 40th BSLC Delta 4. And I'm not alone man. Those I've spoken to really miss the platoon. Somehow, we were self-made and didn't really need much prodding by our instructors to work together and bond as a group. Oh well. Time to move on I guess...
