Battery Standby (Part II)

Yup, you got that right, it's that time of the month again. Once every four weeks or so, for two weeks at a stretch. Since Charlie was the one to be activated last Monday, let's hope we'd be more fortunate yes? Haha. They won't harass us again right? Right?

Anyway, so much for bad news.

Finally got my shoes last Sunday. =) A pair of light brown Adidas Racer Low or something like that. Made of suede I think. Or pig skin. Quite satisfied lah, just that, they get dirtied very easily and they take a long time to dry if wet. Hmmm. Made my new spectacles on Friday. Really isn't cheap to make transition lenses. But thankfully, my eyesight's held steady. For about three to four years now. Watched FF:TROTSS (what a long movie title) in the afternoon too. Got two shirts from Zara on Saturday, before a nice lunch at Hog's Breath Cafe @ Vivocity, then continued COS duty. Sunday! Service was quite empty with so many people in Sri Alam up north in Johore. They should be back by now. =) And as we found out today, Bedok can be a nice place just to meet up and chill out, if you don't mind the heartland surroundings and lack of fancy eateries or watering holes.

Ahh the mundane happenings of the week.

Marianne's finally back! Now we can start on getting our group back on track again. It's been in a state of disarray lately. Yup I know, I've been talking about the same issue over and over again, but you see, the matter's been weighing heavily on my heart for some time now. We'll see what we can do...

Youth Sunday's in say, two weeks' time? And we've not done much yet. Hmmm. Time to get cracking man.
