Controversy Number 1. Is Polo Ralph Lauren a brand for aunties and uncles? I've seen many of them sporting T-shirts or shirts by this upmarket brand. Some wear really garish colours, which inadvertently helps to bring down the prestige of the brand down by several notches. How unfortunate.

Controversy Number 2. Is Billabong a brand for bengs and lians? Tough one. I myself own a Billabong wallet and a hp pouch. But somehow, I've seen too many of them wearing Billabong T-shirts and pants and caps. Perhaps I should switch my loyalty to other beach brands instead. Hah.

Controversy Number 3. Is Mercedes Benz a car brand for towkays and the noveau riche? Once again, no clear cut answer, as many sophisticated jetsetters do own S, SL and SLK Classes. Nothing wrong with that. But I'd prefer a BMW 5 or 7 series anytime thank you.

Say, I'm pretty bored while waiting for time to pass before I meet up with some of the ex-TMS guys. So the above points were some random thoughts lah, some of which, obviously don't make much sense...
